Happy Birthday!
First (and only) birthday on my mission! I'm 21. Yay. Just a normal day in the life.
An Elder in my district's birthday was on the 5th and another Sister in the branch earlier in the week so it was birthday week in our branch! Sister Cole gave me Ribena and a KitKat!
We went to PEC (Priesthood Executive Committee) and the Elders surprised me with blueberry flavored tiny cupcakes!
We ate those and then had our meeting.
Later in the evening Sister Cole and I went to Institute like we usually do. Afterwards all of the elders showed up which I thought was strange and then some other random branch members. I kind of knew something was up :) We ended institute and then everyone said to move to the chapel/multipurpose room to "play games". So I followed! We played charades... In the middle of playing everyone started singing "Happy Birthday" and they wheeled in a big cake with our names on it!!! It was a great surprise! Sister Cole kept the secret well since she's with me 24/7! Then we went home and that was it!
