spongebob, elder ballard, and the beach!

I never knew that my last name was so hard to pronounce until now. Sister Phelps? Sister Finks? Sister Felts? I just smile and nod my head.
(if you can't see it, that is hannah's name tag pretending its the little mermaid)

I also never thought that I would hear the SpongeBob theme song playing so often on the TV while I am teaching a lesson.

This week as been great! We were able to teach a lot of lessons everyday and meet with a lot of new, awesome investigators! We met with a guy yesterday who we contacted as he was walking down the street earlier in the week. He was definitely prepared by the Lord! He read through the Restoration track (pamphlet) the same day we gave it to him. While we were teaching the Restoration he said that he had read all of that already and he just wanted to know more. So we gave him a Book of Mormon and invited him to read and pray about it. He was so excited and even asked if we could close with a prayer! So awesome.
I'm still reading through the conference talks and this week I read M. Russell Ballard's talk "Following Up". Every church member who reads this blog post needs to read this talk!

(m. russell ballard was also the first apostle to have a twitter account. follow him here.)

Do all of you church members have a Preach My Gospel (manual) in your home? Do you study with it? When he talked about it being a guide book for all of us that could not be more true. It helps us know why this restored gospel means so much to not only us, but everyone we come in contact with. I would LOVE it if I got emails and letters about what all of you are learning from your studies. Elder Ballard knows what he's talking about!

love, sister hannah feltis
