its raining its pouring

Zone conference was this week so it was an awesome (and crazy) week!

They talked about Faith, Diligence and Obedience. I should of brought my notes but I forgot :( It was really great though! It helped me to see how it's important to have those Christlike attributes even when you're not a missionary. Being obedient to ALL of the commandments especially when you're not a missionary will still bring you blessings! Reading your scriptures and praying everyday will still bless you even if you don't wear a black badge everyday!

It's hurricane season here (don't worry, Barbados isn't in the hurricane path) so it's been raining a TON. Yesterday I had to back Sister Cragun out (the most awkward part of being a missionary) and it was pouring. Like I could of stood in the shower (with good water pressure!) and gotten just as wet. I was soaked true and true! (In Barbados they say 'th' like it's a 't' so true and true means through and through). Just soaked! Every time it wasn't raining we were inside teaching a lesson. Every time it was pouring, we were outside. We got good pictures though so it was worth it.

Sister Mehr (mission President Mehr's wife) came teaching with us yesterday which was so great! She was just what our investigators needed! It was really great to have her there and explain things so well and keep everything on track. Later in the evening when we went singing at sister Nelsons (Sunday tradition) President and Sister Mehr came with us! Sister Mehr sang in the Mormong Tabernacle choir and President Mehr was great too so we sounded awesome!

It was a great spiritual week!
