this week flew by!!

This week was crazy. It FLEW by! This year and a half will be up in no time! So our AC in our car broke this week. It makes a crazy noise when we turn it on and smells like burning stuff so we leave it off. We have to drive with the windows down so we can cool off (and dry off!) when the car is moving. Whenever it stops it's so so hot! And it's only getting more hot and humid! 

We went to a crazy funeral on Wednesday. It was for the nephew of a lady in the branch. It was really intense. The family is from Haiti and there's a lot of voodoo over there so people were really really emotional. Really emotional. I will have to tell all of you the whole story in real life someday. It's too intense to write. 

In my scripture study the other morning I read 2 Nephi 3:17 about Moses. It talks about how the Lord wouldn't "loose his tongue... for I will not make him mighty in speaking". Then it talks about how he'll call Aaron to speak for him and he'll give him things to say (like the 10 commandments). The Lord won't always answer our prayers or fix our problems the "easy way". It probably would of been easier to just make Moses a great speaker but he chose to keep Moses humble. I just thought that was a good little verse. I love the story of Moses. My companion and I always end up talking about "The Prince of Egypt" movie.

 My mission is great! I've been able to see the change the spirit has brought to me and my investigators!
